Structural thermal break for post base – GreenBuildingAdvisor

Hi all, our house design is a hybrid style: the envelope is 2×6 balloon framed, with an interior (exposed) post and beam 2nd floor system.
The foundation is a “slabless” slab: a mix of earthen clay floor and floating plywood, over bagged perlite insulation. The point loads from the wooden posts will be supported by concrete pilasters and piers.
I had been planning to use Simpson CPTZ concealed post bases (with a 1” stand-off to isolate the metal from the concrete). But this was going to result in significant thermal bridging (something I had accepted). However now I’m thinking it would be better to use structural thermal break material for the stand-off, like this one from Armatherm (attached). I just hadn’t been aware of it.
Does anyone have experience using these for column bases in residential construction? There seem to be many brands in the commercial construction, but not sure about residential. This one from ArmaTherm seems to be fiberglass plastic, and r-values are ~1-3 depending on compression strength.
Any thoughts or installation tips are appreciated too!
