I don’t think those nails are particularly well sealed, either. I like to see a dab of sealant that completely covers the entirety of the nail heads as the entire perimeter of each nail head too. I think white sealant probably would look better here, but the shiny flashing stands out so much it probably doesn’t really matter.

You could try painting that flashing, but assuming it’s the usual aluminum stuff, be sure you use a “bonding primer” specifically rated for use with aluminum (many will say something like “self etching” too). Most normal paint doesn’t adhere particularly well to aluminum.
