“Perfect Wall” for Des Moines Iowa – GreenBuildingAdvisor

I am looking for advice for a good wall system suggestions for Zone 5 in Iowa. I have surfed these forums along with watching Matt Risinger videos, and doing a lot of research on Joe L. My exterior walls will all be 2×6 with hopes of finding a framer familiar with monopoly framing. The home will be roughly 1800 sq ft of finished living connected to a 2400 sq ft shop with an additional 1800 sq ft of unfinished walkout basement. So far I have come to the conclusion that I want continuous insulation on the exterior of the wall along with cavity filled to meet my R requirement. Outside in, I would like my siding/cladding likley vinyl, followed by a rain screen/furs, continuous exterior insulation, potentially comfort board or XPS (open to suggestions regarding vapor drive/dew point/most economical R value) followed by my WRB which I am considering fluid applied such as Prosoco Cat 5 or a peel and stick, sheathing (OSB/Plywood) backed by blown cellulose in the cavity. That being said I would like a very tight house and implement a ERV. I would like this house to stand the test of time, not worry about water, mold, rot etc. Any suggestions for framers/builder familiar with this practice, material suggestions, small tweaks, info on how this would perform, completely different wall systems, are all greatly appreciated.
