Gap between exterior insulation and soffit – GreenBuildingAdvisor

Tldr: how to fill gap between soffit and exterior insulation to prevent insects?

I just finished running 2″ exterior iso on a gable end and some areas have a small gap between the soffit and top edge of the foam (1/4″ in places). Tyvek and rain screen will go up next before the siding. I mostly want to prevent insects from making a home in that gap – should a spray foam, backer rod, or do something else to fill that gap?
