Concrete door sill with Prosoco FastFlash – so I need a PVC sill pan? – GreenBuildingAdvisor

Hey All,

Once I complete installation of the door bucking of my walls, I will coat the concrete door sill with Fast Flash — tying it into the Fast Flash on the vertical bucking.

I’ve attached an image the shows what I was thinking of doing with the PVC pan.  The down side being that there will be no carpet to hide the interior side of the PVC pan.

Do I also need a PVC pan to get the added protection of a back dam or will beads of sealant under the door’s sill be sufficient?
