Energy industry executives and state utility officials will gather later this month to discuss the future of power grid reliability and energy storage deployment during a national summit hosted by the American Clean Power Association.
The ACP RECHARGE conference will feature key perspectives from state energy leadership, including Eric Blank, chair of the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, and Chris Hansen, chief executive officer of La Plata Electric Association.
Discussions will center on expanding grid capacity as power demands accelerate across the country. Key topics include regulatory frameworks, financing strategies, emerging storage technologies and software integrations such as artificial intelligence to manage grid distribution.
Blank is scheduled to lead a session focusing on regulatory challenges and policy strategies needed to integrate large-scale storage into modern electrical grids. Hansen will join a panel highlighting local utility innovation, rural grid resilience and community energy initiatives.
The conference brings together decision-makers across energy manufacturing, finance, technology, and policy sectors to address national infrastructure goals, energy independence and long-term grid stability.
