Building in the rain… is it a problem? – GreenBuildingAdvisor

We are setting our build date with our contractor and I’m wondering how much rainy months should be taken into consideration? We have a family member highly allergic to mold, so we are doing our best to avoid possible trapped moisture and wet materials that could lead to mold. To avoid issues, we are having the walls built inside at a local company and the only day they bring it out is a day or two before the scheduled build to load the walls on the truck.
That being said, if it ends up pouring rain on that scheduled date, they said there’s nothing they can do to delay because workers, equipment, the crane and the company trucks have all been reserved already. I get it. But I’m wondering if by chance it does end up pouring rain on the day of the build, should this be a concern? Or, are there ways to mitigate possible trapped moisture? They are hoping to set the entire house in one day. They hope this will include the roof but it might not.
