Any Constructibility Tips for this Vented Cathedral Ceiling Detail? – GreenBuildingAdvisor

Can I get some feedback on this wall/cathedral ceiling detail, with a focus on the four control layers?

I think it may be easier to handle the air sealing at the rafter corners and blocking if the rafter corners are trimmed and set closer to the exterior wall, with the blocking sitting vertically on top of the top plate.

Any thoughts on that approach? What else do you see that could help keep the construction simple and make the air sealing easier to execute?
