help please- spray foam closed cell insulation disaster – GreenBuildingAdvisor

Friends. Please help us. We have been out of our home over 30 days. We had attic spray foam closed cell insulation installed in a clean dry new roof attic of our home of two years. Built in south shore ma in 1980’s. 

Over 35 days had install. Smell never left. They did 4 different things. Still off gassing. Company tried blaming the fireproof spray, removed it, replaced with different spray. Still off gassing. Thru 70’s 80’s, 60’s snd 50 degree fall weather. We are letting owner know to remove bc its worse than ever today.  

how can we have this done safely and efficiently so we can eventually move back in? We are deeply affected by the chemicals although air quality tests measures everything in moderate but elevated range.
