Looking for someone with deep ICF + load calc experience – GreenBuildingAdvisor

Working with a homeowner on a fully ICF house — walls, floor system, and roof are all ICF, not just the typical walls-only application. This is a large, one-of-a-kind project for our region (Okanagan Valley, BC) — roughly 16,500-17,000 sq ft of conditioned space across a basement, main floor, and upper floor, plus a 3-car garage and pool mechanical room. Not a small build, and not a typical ICF application either.
Our mechanical engineer (who I trust and consider the authority on this project) has run the load calc and the equipment selection lines up with it, so this isn’t a “something’s wrong” post — it’s a “we want another set of experienced eyes” post before we’re fully confident in it, given the scale and how unusual the full-envelope ICF approach is.
The homeowner is willing to pay for an independent energy audit / second review — this is a genuine paid engagement, not a request for free feedback.
What I’m specifically after: someone who has real hands-on experience with full-envelope ICF (not just ICF foundations or ICF walls with a conventional roof) and understands how that construction type should actually be modeled — effective R-value vs. nominal, thermal mass effects, and especially infiltration/ACH assumptions, since ICF’s airtightness behaves very differently from stick-built and is easy to get wrong if a tool defaults to conventional-construction assumptions.
Not looking for someone to redo the calc from scratch — looking for someone who can independently audit our methodology and tell us if anything about how we’re treating the ICF envelope doesn’t match real-world performance they’ve seen. If you do this kind of work professionally and have genuine ICF experience, reply here or DM and we can talk scope/rate.
