Rain Screen under Exterior Insulation – GreenBuildingAdvisor

On our old house CZ 2A, we are removing the old siding and installing Zip sheathing, taped and sealed. the windows are going in as well, taped and sealed. The exterior foam insulation is next. My question does the foam need a rain screen between the Zip and insulation?
