Has anyone tried the Fresh-R HRV units? I learned about them from Josh Salinger’s comment on this Q&A Spotlight, which as far as I can see, is the only place on GBA they have been mentioned so far:

They are made in the Netherlands and distributed in the US by Small Planet Supply, here is more info: https://smallplanetsupply.us/collections/fresh-r-hrv
Like the popular Lunos and TwinFresh units, they are a ductless through-the-wall option that seems appropriate for small homes. However, they are capable of moving significantly more air than the Lunos. They also have built-in CO2 and RH sensors and automatically adjust ventilation rates accordingly.
One feature I am particularly interested in is their “Forward” units which seem to get installed in an interior wall of a bedroom, which then allows them to monitor the air quality of that room and exhaust air from it as needed – presumably improving fresh air distribution/mixing throughout the house?
The home I am designing will be small (750 sq ft), single story, and have 2 bedrooms. I can’t justify the cost of 4 Lunos units, but I would like an option that increases movement of fresh air through the house and ensures C02 levels in the bedrooms are controlled.
Any experience or thoughts to share? I have reached out to Small Planet Supply to try to get an idea of the cost of the Fresh-R units and will update this post when I hear back.
Thanks!
