I’m planning use either XPS or EPS (reclaimed hopefully) for exterior insulation, but I am concerned about insect intrusion. I’d love to use Mineral wool instead, but am trying to keep the budget under control.
How is everyone preventing insects from making a home out of their foam? I was thinking I could use some mineral wool around the edges in addition to screening at openings. What do you all think of this idea, and what other ideas are out there?
