Is anyone here using both an ERV and a separate ducted whole-house dehumidifier in the same home?

I’m especially interested in mixed-humid or hot-humid climates where ventilation plus low sensible loads create shoulder-season humidity issues.

If you have this setup, I’d love to hear:

• How you ducted and controlled the systems

• Any comfort or coordination challenges

• Whether you’d do it the same way again

I’m exploring a concept that combines balanced ventilation and dedicated dehumidification into a single unit, and I’m trying to understand if that meaningfully solves problems.
