What was your career path Randy – GreenBuildingAdvisor

Hey this is a question that might have been answered but couldn’t find it via search tools.

Randy I was wondering if you went back to trade school or what certifications you got to get into energy auditing?  From what I’ve garnered on the podcast you have been and are a hands on GC with an energy consulting business.  When you made the move into energy, was it all self taught or where did you go?

I have an architecture degree and then did renderings for 20 years and even submitted a question about careers to the FHB podcast which was read and answered.

Currently I’m thinking about the Energy Technician certificates and associates degrees at LA Trade Tech.

Any suggestions?  Is online possible or do you recommend hands on?
