Maintaining air barrier for ERV intake wall penetration – GreenBuildingAdvisor

I need to run a 6″ ERV intake pipe up the inside of a bedroom closet wall and then out to the exterior (wall construction is drywall, Intello Plus vapor barrier, R30 Rockwool in 2×8 walls, and exterior LP Weather logic sheathing). I want to make sure I maintain the air barrier and prevent condensation in the cavity from the intake. My thought was to install a 7″ PVC pipe as a sleeve through the wall and seal the exterior using the air gaskets found on building 475. On the inside, I plan to use contega around the pipe to seal/repair the air barrier. Then I’ll need to run the insulated intake duct through that sleeve and air-seal somehow but not sure exactly how to do this since it goes into an internal space/bedroom closet. Is there a good way to do this? Should I be doing something different?
Unfortunately, going through the mini basement wall is not an option as it puts us only 4″ from ground level which is too close for a fresh air intake which is why we need to take it up and out.
