Concrete basement wall – insulation and moisture control – GreenBuildingAdvisor

I am working on a basement renovation project in Long Island NY to create living space in an existing unfinished basement. The basement has a 4″ concrete slab and 8″ concrete c.i.p. walls. I cannot add insulation to the exterior so was looking for recommendations for insulation/waterproofing/moisture control for the inside face of the foundation walls. My current thought is to apply a liquid applied waterproofing to the inside face of wall and then add a 2×4 pt stud furring wall leaving a 1 1/4″ gap between the concrete wall and inside face of stud, fill the stud pockets with 2″ Rockboard insulation, then add 1/2″ MR drywall on the finish face.
I would welcome any thoughts/recommendations anyone might have!
Thanks in advance
Blake
