   I would not mess with such things, the space in an A frame that low you cannot even put furniture in

   Yeah, I don’t see how you save any space by angling it, it takes up the same amount of room however it’s oriented. I’d fabricate a bracket out of wood to it could sit level.

   I think the objection to mounting it upright is aesthetic. Having it mounted upright on an angled wall would look pretty odd.
