Air sealing caulk…what is best? – GreenBuildingAdvisor

We’re in the process of air sealing the inside of a new construction home. For wider cracks, we’ll be using canned closed-cell spray foam (Great Stuff Gaps and Cracks or Great Stuff Window and Door), but I’m wondering what the best option is for smaller gaps, seams, and penetrations where caulk would be more appropriate.
We are installing Intello Plus for an air barrier, so Contega HF will be used on the top and bottom joints where that will adhere. But as that’s a very expensive product, we’re looking to use Dynaflex 230 or an acoustical caulk for the rest. But, we’re not sure which is the better choice—especially if acoustical caulk is generally preferred for this type of application (I’m hoping to find a product that is usually stocked at big box stores like Menards, Home Depot or Lowes).
Any recommendations or insights?
