I have a block piers under a park model. The issue is the piers are varying heights, some as much as six inches or so short of the i-beam they should be holding up. What would be the best way to fill the gaps, e.g., wood blocks planed down to the correct height, etc.?
I can use cap blocks to fill some of the space but that leaves a smaller gap which may be too small for wood. Would it be crazy to build forms on top of the piers and fill with concrete?
Right now I have temporary jack posts holding the frame in areas where it’s unsupported by piers.
