I just installed the 15-mil commercial vapor barrier on a residence on Aug 5, however due to 2 weeks of weather and scheduling delays, it has been brought to my attention that Stego install instructions state a maximum exposure duration for UV/weather at 7 days.
My question is, since my vapor barrier will have been left in the open for 15 days, is this a concern with the long term performance of the product? Or, is the install instruction limit simply a way to curb warranty claims/responsibility if there is a failure?
Thanks,
