Hi all,
Question here about minisplit efficiency. I have a 2 story 1600ft2 pretty good house design where modeling gives me a 20kBTU total heating capacity need. We are planning to have a single minisplit unit per level and count on diffusion and positioning of our ERV supplies and returns to promote airflow across each level. However in looking at availability of units we’re finding higher BTU units than we need (18kBTU ea) at great prices, but in digging into the tech specs I’m not finding much about their efficiency at lighter loading. Any feedback? Thanks
