Sheathing gaps – not between sheets, but elsewhere – GreenBuildingAdvisor

All right, so that title was a bit mysterious. But I’ve never sheathed a wall before and cannot pose the question well enough to Google search the answer.

I’ve got 12′ side walls and framed them assuming 1/2″ sheathing overlaps past each end of the wall. This means that 3, vertically attached sheets won’t completely cover the wall. I think it will be 1″ off.

What to do?
