Metal flashing placement with belt-n-suspenders water barrier – GreenBuildingAdvisor

Hey All,

I have what I think is a belt-n-suspenders water control layer on the exterior of my house. There is a layer of Prosoco MVP, Fast Flash on the exterior side of the OSB.  Then, there is a 2″ layer of foil-faced, polyiso foam on the exterior side of that (see atch’d image).

Can I attach/tape the window trim’s top flashing (blue in atch’d image) to the exterior side of the rainscreen batten (not really accurately depicted in the image), or should I cut the polyiso back and attach the metal flashing to the MVP/Fast-flash at the OSB?
