Best way to seal conduits/wire chase from attic to basement – GreenBuildingAdvisor

I need to cap off a conduit/wire chase that runs from an unconditioned attic to the basement. I’m probably overthinking this, but I want to do this correctly since my attic doesn’t have blown in insulation yet and once it does, walking around up there is way harder.
Just duct tape it off?
